The property is situated on the A701 Dumfries to Moffat road and is 12 miles from the A74.

To get to the Granary from the south travel up the A74 to Lockerbie Junction 18, follow the signs for the A709 to Lochmaben and Dumfries, travel 4 miles then through Lochmaben. After a further 4 miles you come to Torthorwald, travel through the village, as you exit the village there is a turning to the right to Tinwald and Amisfield. Turn right there and follow the single track road to Tinwald, travel through Tinwald, as you come through the village the road bends to the left, on the bend there is a turning to Amisfield, Turn right and follow to the end of the road. At the T junction look directly to your right and this is The Delvine and The Granary, turn right and right again 50yards from junction into the driveway.
